Jed is awake, alone, cold, confused, and inside the biggest test tube he‘s ever seen.
His friends float in their own tanks, their minds trapped in the game. It’s up to Jed to rescue them, starting with Kat. She is the storyteller, the original Jumper, the one who gained their trust so she could ask them to do the impossible, and Jed wants her out so she can answer his questions.
The Man also wants Kat, but in the game, not out, for she is the Alpha Beacon, the one thing holding it all together.
If she stays, so does his control.
If she leaves, the players' minds are free once again.
