As you know, I started writing the series to keep my kids on board with reading. If your kids are like mine, they might not share your love of sitting on the couch with your nose in a book. How I gave birth to such offspring, I do not know, but I work with it.
When I started the series, I envisioned it as a silly sort of story that could go on forever. I could endlessly dream up new scenarios in which Jed and the gang would find themselves embroiled.
The story took on a life of its own and I came to realize that it definitely had an ending. Let me tell you, as sad as my kids are that it'll end, I'm relieved! I love the Jumpers, I think they're super cool, but I also think they've had a lot happen these past few months, and they must be exhausted!
They're kids, after all. They'd love to get back to some normalcy, go on vacation with the parents, or just chill in bed with their iPads.
So, right now, I'm going to say I've got 3 more books coming in The World Keepers series, and then it'll be time to move on to something else.
Book 8 is already outlined, and I hope to release it around this time next month. Books 9 and 10 have definite direction, and I've known since the beginning how it all ends (or at least I've known since I realized it had an ending).
Don't worry though, there's more on the horizon, and I promise it'll be stuff my kids love, so hopefully you all will love it, too.
