I've been playing World Of Warcraft for 15 years, since roughly a few months after the first iteration came out. I've played every expansion except the most recent (it's 2020 now and Shadowlands is due to come out in a few months), and using Auctioneer has worked in every single expansion without fail. The best part is that making gold like this keeps you in epic mounts for all of your alts, good gear, pots, flasks, enchants, etc. and requires only about ten minutes a day at the most. It's really that simple. I started on the server in April of 2020. A friend gave me 4 Runecloth bags and 3 gold to get me started. From that 3 gold (which I paid back in a few days), I made more than 6,000 gold (I say 6000 because that's what I know I have on my characters now as far as mounts and gold, but it's quite likely much more, probably around 10,000) and have never stressed about gold in WoW at all. I'm leaving the game in October of 2020 and just gave away 3,000 gold to guildies, leaving myself with a few hundred gold, plenty to rebuild my empire when I come back in a few years.
