Finally, Mom gets her quilt today!

First and foremost, I'd like to wish a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my lovely mother. If I had a glass of wine and you had a glass of wine, I'd make a toast. It would be a beautiful, eloquent toast. It actually brings a tear to my eye just thinking about it, so I'll go ahead and share it here.

Things I can't say in person, because I might cry:

*tink tink tink* This is me clanking my fork against my glass to get everyone's attention, because of course I've thrown a huge party for my mom's birthday. I'm a great daughter, what can I say.

"Dear Mom. Thank you for not killing me."

Before I give her the quilt, I wanted to take a couple of pictures so you could really see the quilting. It was so beautifully done by Jenny Arkinson over at Come Quilt.

I hope everyone has as good a day as my mom is going to have. Hers will be awesome since the kids and I are taking her to see "Wreck It Ralph".

I hope that your mom had a great birthday. You really loved your mom and I can say that based on your blog. I hope that I can do the same to her. My mom passed away two years ago and I cannot celebrate her birthday with her anymore. Anyways, I hope that she is happy wherever she is right now. Please take good care of your mom and spend life happily with her. That quilt is really a good one.
