Book 9 is almost done!
Read that again, because it's important! If you enter this contest, you need to do it quick, as in, get your submission submitted before May 2nd. That's next Wednesday, if you're not in front of a calendar. I've got an entire chapter coming up where the kids can ONLY speak to each other in rhyme. Just thinking about the logistics of this makes my brain hurt. I know my kids could come up with some seriously great material, after all, my 10 year old has been playing "Auto Rap Battle" forever, it seems. But, instead of only relying on my own children, I thought I'd make it a little more interesting and open it up to the people reading the books. I'm looking at you! Or, if you're the parent reading this, then I'm looking at your kids, unless you want to enter as well, in which case, feel free. Here's the scoop: 1. Submit a few rhymes that people might say in general conversation while stuck in a digital world. It doesn't have to be complex or long, a couple of lines, or if you're feeling REALLY plucky, submit an entire rap of 8-10 lines that they can use in a competition. 2. No dirty words, keep it clean, completely and entirely. 3. Either reply to this post on Facebook (if that's where you are) or send me an email at [email protected] 4. Include your IN GAME name. Don't send me your real name. Send your IN GAME name, and whether your character is male or female. 5. That's it, you're done! I'll be picking a few characters and their rap/rhymes to assist the kids in the final part of Book 9. Don't forget, I've got to receive your submission by May 2nd! Later Tater! Ty
