A Thanksgiving Book & A Whole New Look!

I think I speak for a large part of the population when I say that this is my FAVORITE TIME OF THE YEAR!

Yes, it is in part because of the holidays. I mean who doesn't love it when everyone seems to be just a little happier, a little more caring, and a little nicer to their fellow man? But, it's also because I live in Texas, and we typically don't see an end to our blazing hot weather until the end of October. There is JOY in knowing I can put on my teddy bear pajama pants, fleece-like lined slippers, and long house coat. I mean, I'll spend my whole weekend in this stuff, no lie.

As far as books go, I love themed things. I remember when my youngest was probably 2 or 3 years old we read "That's Not My Snowman" every single night, for a year. Summer, Fall, Spring, didn't matter, he loved that book.

That's the memory that inspired the book I have coming out this week!

Here's the synopsis:

Who wants to end up as dinner on Thanksgiving?

No turkey wants to end up roasted and sitting on a plate for someone’s feast on the biggest day of the year, and this Minecraft turkey is no exception. He’s determined that he won’t end up on the menu and he’s hiding all over town as he looks for a place where he will be safe.

Now you can try to find him on every page in this fun-packed and exciting book that is suitable for the whole family.

Told in rhyme and with colorful illustrations accompanying our hero’s adventures, this book is perfect for young children and is fun for older ones and even adults, too.

But will our turkey find a safe haven? Or is he destined for the oven?

Surely there will be a happy ending to his plight!

The turkey will be hiding SOMEWHERE on each page of the book. Your kids can read the rhyme, it'll give a clue, and then they can hunt for him. But, remember...SHHH! If you find him, don't tell the Villagers. He doesn't want to become their turkey dinner.

In other news, The World Keepers books are getting an updated look! We're changing the font to look more like Roblox writing, and each book will also get a Roblox version of the main character or characters on the front cover. I love seeing Jed and the gang brought to life in all their blocky glory. I have book 1 done so far, and the others should be up next week, but in the mean time, take a look.
